For years I have worked with realtors who have given my drawings as a gift to clients upon closing. And many of these clients have come back to me to have house drawings done for themselves or as gifts to friends and relatives. Giving a gift of a beautiful house drawing is a very personal and memorable expression of feeling or gratitude.

Here are a few ideas that you may find inviting.

-Business appreciation: I frequently draw houses for realtors and builders to present to their clients in memorable expression of gratitude for their business

-Holiday gift: Christmas is my busiest time of year

-A first or new home: I have even drawn a lovely wooded lot purchased by a young couple who intend to build there in a few years

-Parents moving from a beloved homestead to retirement or to a nursing home

-Families moving away from a neighborhood

-Significant birthday (I recently gave a drawing of his farm to a neighbor on his 80th birthday)

-Vacation homes on a lake, cabins in the mountains or woods, or any special getaway

-A retrospective of all the homes a family has lived in
